This morning I was driving to my beloved job and what did I see...a homeless man using an electronic cigarette. So many things pass thru my mind at the moment...
Like...HOW DOES HE CHARGE IT?! And how does he get to the store across towns to buy e-juice? Or does he order online? And how did he even get an e-cig in the first place?
While of course I support him smoking an e-cig over a normal cancer stick, I still found it funny/strange/dynamic and who knows what else. It's definitely a sign of the fast paced evolution of the world...homeless people smoking e-cigarettes!
And I decided that the next time I drive that route to work, I am going to take him an extra bottle of e-juice...this is better than money right?!
And while I am there...I am going to get a picture....

How to Choose Your First E-Cigarette So You Ditch Cigarettes!
If you're finally fed up with traditional smoking and are looking to buy your first e-cigarette, here are
a few tips that will help you get started.
Ask Your Dorky Friends
Because of the
plethora of types and models of e-cigarettes on the market, it’s always hard to
choose the first cigarette. It might be helpful to ask your friends who play lots of video games, online poker, dungeons and dragons and other dorky things like that about what
they are using and ask them about their experience. Just remember that their
preferences might differ from yours...as you're probably not as dorky as them! You might also read some reviews and get
informed on the pros and cons of each type of e-cigarette.
Take into account the construction and
technology of the e-cigarette
There are numerous
models out on the market, from the old 3-piece ones to the newer models. The
difference between them is that the older models have an atomizer, a cartridge
and a battery, while the new ones have disposable atomizer-cartridges which
come pre-filled and you don’t have to fill them on your own. Basically, the dorky people choose the more complex ones and the yuppies in the bars choose the one-piece ones...which side are you on?
The battery should
also count towards your choice, since each puff consumes battery life. You
should choose one that will fit your smoking patterns and that can be recharged
on the go via USB cables or car adaptors.
Choose an e-cigarette that fits your
lifestyle
It is very
important to know what you want from your e-cigarette. There are models which
closely resemble traditional cigarettes, or you can opt for newer ones for
novel experiences. Important factors to take into account are flavor and vapor
volume, as well as appearance.
Try to choose an
e-cigarette that fits your smoking habits and your style. Also, be careful when
balancing price and quality, as the cheaper ones might need proper researching
to ensure they don’t have low battery life or construction issues. You’ll
probably need to experiment at first until you find the right e-cigarette to
suit you, but the effort will be well worth it once you find the right one.
E-Cigs Are Still Better Than "Cancer-Cigs"
Inhaling any type of smoke cannot
be good for you but it has been proven that e-cigarettes are actually less
harmful to your health than regular cancer-sticks. Why? Both products contain nicotine and large
amounts of smoke. What could possibly make e-cigs better than cancer-cigs?
Most people do not realize
that regular cigarettes contain many other chemicals mixed into the cigarette.
When you smoke a cigarette, you are not just inhaling nicotine smoke. You are
inhaling a wide range of harmful chemicals, the most common being tar, which is
tobacco residue. Additionally, the smoke created from smoking a cigarette is
much denser than e-cigarette smoke – you feel it burning your lungs – it is
full of ash.
So, the next time your smoker
friend starts wheezing after a 5 minute jog, point out how slow he is running,
then pull out your e-cigarette and blow steam in their face. Then, do a little
dance while chanting “e-cigarettes are still better than cigarettes, na na na
na!” and run away before he has a chance to tackle you to the floor.
Switching to e-cigarettes is
not only much cheaper but it will help reduce health risks as well. Of course,
don’t expect to be able to huff on an e-cig while sprinting in a marathon; your
lungs don’t react well to any kind of smoke.
E-Cigarettes Don’t Get You Hooked On Drugs...The CIA Does
There is a rumor circulating about e-cigarettes, which is
the default rumor that people spread when they don’t like an upcoming trend,
which states that smoking e-cigarettes will make you addicted to drugs. The rumor
is backed by the same statistics which prove that spiking your hair with gel or
wearing baggy jeans can also get you addicted to drugs. Remember kids, comb
your hair flat and to one side and wear Polo’s tucked into your shorts if you
want to live a productive life!
Blaming e-cigarettes for drug addiction is just ridiculous,
but people are always looking to place blame on something. So, instead of
blaming drug addiction on e-cigarettes, let’s place the blame on something that
is not healthy and can’t help you quit smoking normal cigarettes. Who will be
the one to receive the blame for drug addiction? Well, since nowadays blame can
be placed on anything without being backed by real evidence, lets blame drug
addiction on the CIA.
After all, the CIA does support thousands of anti-drug
campaigns on an annual basis. Why would this make the CIA responsible for drug
addiction? Well, have you ever seen a red button with a sign next to it that
states “DO NOT TOUCH THE BUTTON” and yet you had this sudden urge to press the
button? – Exactly.
So don’t blame e-cigarettes for drug addiction, blame the
CIA!
**P.S. There have been many cases where CIA officials have
been involved with drug trafficking.**
Why Vapers Should Go To War For E-Cigarettes
When e-cigarettes began circulating on the market it didn’t
take long before some nerd decided that it would be a cool idea to tweak the
device with cool colors, lights, and trinkets. Needless to say, his desperate
attempt to gain social proof from his friends quickly turned into a subculture
and the ’vaper’ subculture was born.
When ‘vapers’ unite, they tend to reveal their latest
e-cigarette modifications, which generates plenty of “ooohs” and “aaaahs” from
fellow ‘vapers’. If you have ever seen a group of socially awkward people
emitting various expressive sounds in hushed tones engulfed in a thick layer of
smoke – you just stumbled on a ‘vaper’ gathering.
Of course, ‘vapers’ don’t just love spending big dollars on
e-cigarette customizations; they firmly believe that regular tobacco cigarettes
should just be banned.
Unfortunately, they are too busy customizing their
e-cigarettes to do anything about it. So, I would like to take it upon myself
to encourage ‘vapers’ to actively go to war for their cause. Promoting
e-cigarette use is not only a great way to help people quit smoking regular
cigarettes but it will also provide the ‘vaper’ community with more people to
show off their new e-cigarette customizations to.
Go to war ‘vapers’!
Take Action Against The FDA and Big Tobacco
Action Alert: Urge Congress to prevent FDA from banning e-cigarettes again and to stop FDA from giving the e-cig industry to Big Tobacco
Action Alert: Urge US Congress to prevent FDA from banning e-cigarettes again and to stopFDA from giving the e-cig industry to Big Tobacco
Situation:
The FDA has stated its intent to propose (by the end of October) the “deeming” regulation to apply Chapter IX of the 2009 Tobacco Control Act (TCA) to all e-cigarettes (e-cigs), and to propose additional regulations for e-cigs.
But Chapter 910 of the TCA would ban all e-cigs currently on the market, Chapter 911 would prohibit e-cig companies from truthfully claiming the products are “smokefree” or are less hazardous than cigarettes, and the rest of Chapter IX and other likely e-cig regulations would give the entire e-cig industry to Big Tobacco (and perhaps several large companies that market “Cigalikes”).

Please inform your members of Congress that:
- e-cigs have helped you quit smoking and/or reduce cigarette consumption,
- the “deeming” regulation would ban all e-cigs currently on the market per Section 910,
- FDA already unlawfully banned e-cigs in 2009 until federal judges struck it down in 2010,
- FDA has made false and misleading fear mongering claims about e-cigs since 2009,
- the “deeming” regulation would give the entire e-cig industry to Big Tobacco (and perhaps a few large e-cig companies) even if the FDA exempts e-cigs from Section 910,
- virtually all e-cigs are consumed by smokers and ex-smokers who switched to e-cigs,
- the CDC has falsely claimed e-cigs are addicting youth and are gateways to cigarettes,
- States (not FDA) should ban e-cig sales to minors and 25 states already have done so,
- Section 911 of the TCA would prohibit companies from truthfully saying that e-cigs “emit no smoke” and are less hazardous alternatives to cigarettes,
- additional FDA regulations for e-cigs (e.g. sales/marketing restrictions, nicotine restrictions, flavoring restrictions, e-liquid sales ban) could deny you and other consumers of legal and/or affordable access to e-cig products you now consume.

E-cigs Appear To Be Turning Into Spaceships!
You vaperers are going crazy! So much for simple and easy to use e-cigs. Check out this thing I found...is it a space ship?
(and for the record, I have absolutely NO affiliation with RiP Trippers...I just thought this thing was cool)
